When I started this blog, I just knew I wanted to write about food. Well, and drink. As I become more familiar with the blogosphere and my own interests, I am realizing a few things. First, everyone and their brother writes about food. It’s a huge arena, with an infinite number of topics and angles to explore, recipes to test, local businesses to discover, etc. I can’t possibly hope to include all of it here and need to narrow my focus. Second, at least a dozen bloggers already cover the food scene in Cleveland. I love this city, and I enjoy reading about others’ experiences, but am I really going to add anything by gushing about Fathead’s latest brew, or pastries at Presti’s? These are things I love unconditionally, as a part of my hometown. Even a bad experience would be memorable, and not necessarily indicative of the restaurant’s overall quality. Continue reading
